Curtain Steam Cleaning in Masdar City

Curtains are cleaned on the rail wherever the fabric allows, because taking them down is where most of the shrinkage and distortion happens.

Tower stock here, so the work concentrates into fewer rooms and building access decides the schedule.

What the job involves

Curtain Steam Cleaning in Masdar City.

On-site steam

Controlled moisture on the hanging fabric, worked top to bottom so nothing pools in the hem.

By fabric

Blackout, sheer, velvet and linen each take a different method. Velvet is never saturated.

Rails and pelmets

Wiped, and the headers and hems included — the two places dust concentrates.

Drying

Air movement until dry. Damp lining in a closed room is how curtains develop a smell.

Every point is published on the written checklist before we arrive, scoped at the inspection so what does not apply comes off and the price comes down, and signed with you before the crew leaves. The full scope sits on our Curtain Steam Cleaning page.

About Masdar City

What Masdar City property actually needs.

Masdar City is a tower and low-rise community developed by Mubadala, desert-edge, inland. Sitting on the desert edge means a heavier dust load year round and a much heavier one after a shamal. Window tracks, balcony drainage and AC returns fill faster here than they do in the city.

Fine desert dust settles deep into pile and weave here, so the dry stage takes longer before any moisture is used.

Condition varies more than size does across any community, so the scope is set at the inspection rather than assumed from the address. We test surfaces before treating them and tell you in writing where something will not come back. Access in a Mubadala community follows the developer’s own contractor process — we arrange the pass, the permit and the service-lift booking where one is needed, so a crew is not turned away at the gate.
