UAE & GulfA widely repeated claim is that UAE tap water is very hard. The reality is more specific, and it changes what actually fixes the problem.

Because water is stored. Tanks in high ambient heat, long pipe runs, and water heaters operating at high temperature all promote deposition. Evaporation on surfaces in a hot dry climate concentrates whatever minerals are present.
Scale is a building and appliance issue more than a supply issue. Tank condition, heater temperature and pipework age vary enormously between two properties on the same street.
Tank cleaning on a sensible interval, moderating water heater temperature, squeegeeing shower glass, and treating scale as it forms rather than after it has bonded.
Everything we do is scoped against every service and community we cover, priced after an inspection and fixed in writing before any work begins.
Worth investigating if you have persistent appliance scaling, but diagnose the actual cause first. A softener does not fix a dirty tank.
UAE municipal supply is treated to a potable standard. Taste complaints usually trace to storage rather than treatment.
Rapid evaporation in a hot dry bathroom concentrates minerals on the surface. Squeegeeing after showering is the single most effective habit.
